Roses

Roses wasn't always a Plague dragon.

He was born a nature dragon, and his eyes were once a bright green. But one day, he was taken from his home by a hoard of plague dragons, who proceeded to hurt and torture him nonstop. Due to years of being exposed to the dragon’s disgusting powers…his eyes turned red, though not fully. There’s still a speck of green in the center of his eye, a reminder of what he once was.

He managed to escape the plague dragon’s lair and the Scarred Wastelands, fleeing back to his homeland, the Viridian Labyrinth.

Though when he returned home, he was treated anything but nicely. The other Nature dragons saw his red eyes and would either flee or sometimes even attack him, his own lair didn’t even want him anymore. So…for ages he wandered, all alone, unable to use any magic, (he lost the ability from the years of magic abuse) no home, and no family… until he stumbled into the Everbloom Gardens. And ran into a large Gaoler by the name of Strawberry.

Strawberry saw that Roses was hurt and hungry, so he offered to bring him home with him. Roses wanted to decline, knowing he would be feared or hated, but Strawberry insisted, and eventually Roses gave in, and let Strawberry carry him to his lair.
