Chance

As Levi & Athan prepare for their first season, they are a bit saddened to find a single egg in their nest of seaweed. Still, they were determined as ever to raise this child with high hopes as their firstborn.
So Wegg was determined to not let that title as firstborn fall short of greatness.
She seeks out an adventure to travel to new territories and make herself a well earned name. Something more grand than "I was named wegg because I'm an only child from my parents first nesting".



With the goal of greatness in mind, and fond farewells to her parents, Wegg set out to find a new life. She flew within sight of Luminax, shivering in fear of the massive Emperor.
So he does exist, he's not just a tale to scare hatchlings, she thought to herself. Glancing once more at him as he roared, she sped across the Hewn Ruins, wanting to put distance between herself and the undead drake.
As Wegg crossed the divide between the Sunbeam Ruins and the Shifting Expanse, she relaxed a little. Stretching her wings, she banked toward the spires. A few errant beams of sunlight dared to break through the clouds, causing the metallic spires to gleam.
Wegg gasped and hovered there a moment, in awe of the stark contrast between dark and light, while lightning danced and arced around and through it all.
Sudden movement below and off to one side caught her attention. Peering closer, she realized there was a pair of her kind dancing in the wind. Calling out a greeting, she dove toward them.

Wyze and Ways simultaneously snapped their heads upward at the bugled greeting. Bugling in response, they flew up to meet Wegg.
