Biography
I have been breeding her with blue in hopes that it will result in a baby like I want from blue's parents. so far it hasn't gone well. If I wasn't specifically hoping for an imperial with those colors I would breed her with aspen, something that would have a higher chance of getting the desired coloration in a baby, but it would also be likely that the baby would have python and I am hoping for metallic :/ I wouldn't be upset if I got the gene combo I want but it's on a wildclaw, it's just that the way fuchsia glimmer looks on an imperial is part of the desired outcome. The pop of fuchsia under the eye while the head is blue and the fuchsia mane? Perfection. especially with a vibrant but dark shade of blue. It's bold, it's eye catching, the combo is pleasing to my eyes and my love of high color saturation. I love high saturation, I love the eye hurting juice.
genes I have for modern dragons that I might use. I wonder if a breed change to imperial would look weird or not. She was meant to be part of a second generation attempt to get the ideal navy metallic/Fuchsia bee or butterfly/fuchsia glimmer (ideally male) imperial but I'm not sure if she'll work
that project was inspired by my dragon "loris" who I love, but wish had fuchsia wings. His son gemshard is the closest I've gotten, he's just a bit too light with his blue primary. Sadly both his mom and Fuchsia are more gray and that makes it harder to get the right primary color, but at least both Fuchsia and gemshard have fuchsia secondary and tertiary genes, and even the secondary and tertiary I want! Bee and glimmer!
currently changed to python from I believe it was that galaxy gene
but I might change her primary again, and if I want to change back python is an easy gene to get, it being a common gene makes it dominant though. I can't remember everything about all the genes I have as options here though and I'm not sure where you would look to see what each one is considered rarity wise. I believe that metallic is rare and the other two here are limited. I just found out, that I was correct on that one. I can't remember if rare dominates limited or if it's the other way around. Sigh. For someone who does so much breeding with goals in mind I sure am more clueless than one would expect. Luckily imperial breed is dominant over wildclaw which is more rare
Actually, the preview offspring with boulder are kind of, maybe, as cute as the ones with metallic
If you are wondering "Why don't you look for a male with those colors and change genes and maybe breed?" it's because at least one of the genes I want is a gem one and I'm always more reluctant to buy those
