Rhazen Gadjanorha

Once leader of the clan before he gave the responsibility to Kiera, Rhazen is a dragon who knows when and how to take responsibility and action, and continues to be a valuable adviser to the new leader, especially considering he is the founder of the clan. His first mate, Tyria, and their first clutch were claimed by the Gladekeeper in the wake of a large-scale attack. Ensured that his loved ones were safe, Rhazen was presented with the Beacon and charged with the task of creating a safe haven for all dragons. And so, with Kiera's help, the Virid'litore - the Green Haven - was born.

In the years since, the clan has grown to a formidable strength, but Rhazen has also relinquished his position as leader to Kiera. He remains a valuable consultant and co-leader, but much of his focus remains on internal affairs.

He is often mischievous, but understand when a serious attitude is required. In particular, he enjoys teasing un-paired females, but knows not to push it too far under the watchful gaze of his life-mate, Naira. Since Tyria's miraculous return from the service of the Gladekeeper, Rhazen has been tense, and though his current mate has made no indication of feeling uneasy or upset, the normally confident male keeps looking over his shoulder as though the proverbial dung were about to hit the fan at any moment.

Despite his fearsome appearance, he is very much an advocate of nature. He represents the more primal, dark side of the jungle, and understands that death is an important part of life. With that in mind, he is very open in regards to what sort of dragons join the clan. He is willing to overlook a person's origins and grant them a new life in the Haven. Some think this stance to be a foolish one, but he is nothing if not stubborn when it comes to his ideals, of which the usually laid-back dragon has relatively few that he actively advocates.

Rhazen is based off of a character from the world of Tau'ir, in which he is a coastal dragon from the south who journeyed to the west to escape his bloody past. He is now Avatar to the Guardian of Death and mated to Naira, a human Knight who is also Avatar of War.
