No one knows his real name, but he likes to call himself Quietus: the ending of a life. Known as a serial gambler with a talent for winning every card hand, he was bound to make enemies. One dragon in particular was so infuriated at him for beating a hand that was sure to win, he turned to attack the Aether's beloved partner. Before Quietus landed the killing blow on the offender, his partner was struck down. A life for a life. Quietus now lives with a debt to repay lest he be taken away to gaol for the rest of his life.
