Leader of the counterstrike team, melee combat expert and crotchety old vet who often despairs of the current generations of dragons who apparently think they're good enough to either serve the Shadowbinder or engage in combat against the Beastclans. Nevertheless, he does his best to train all young (and not-so-young) dragons who are interested to his exacting standards. To that end, he often travels to the lairs of other Shadow flight clans to assist in training their members in combat. (It is, after all, in everyone's best interest that any and all Shadow dragons be at their best for the glory of Shadowmother.) Friends with Jazz and Permia and gets along well enough with Prowl, though they have more than once clashed over what Motorbreath sees as occasionally too-restrictive rules and plans.
