a dragon outcast from his prior clan for his heresy. he views the lightweaver as an unfit ruler of the land of light, and sneers at the other gods as much as any other lightborn dragon. the way of dragons, the way of clans, the way of the gods- they are all wrong, unforgiving, disgustingly blind towards those who never sought to conquer. he believes that there could be a far better order- though to become the new way of the land, someone would need to overwhelm the eleven. to sway the masses to their cause, and eliminate those too stubborn to change, and to right the wrongs inflicted on his followers.

inspired by the destructive force of the resurrected emperor luminax, haze concocted a plan. a lone emperor could test the strength of gods, so many would undoubtedly devour them all. with only vague knowledge of the mechanisms of their creation, he beckoned to other outcasts to join him in a plot to seek revenge on their old clans that ousted them. the true scope of his great visions were only shared with his closest followers who not dared whisper his true intentions.

the first recruit of his was shabao. she came under his wing after he helped save her from hunters from her prior clan. she could be told his full vision- though she detested violence, she did bear to stain her claws red before. she could do so again, if it were for the greater good.

his second recruit was xannan. he was a lone wanderer in the haunting mist of the hewn city, one haze tracked from the shadows until luring him out and appealing to him to follow to his encampment. though he was similarly disillusioned with the ways of dominance, there was an aspect to him that warranted keeping him in the dark. skepticism could lead to him betraying a cause once more.
