Auruenan

Auruenan's clan sent him off to deliver a message to a mysterious clan that won a chance to send a warrior to train amongst them. He was to stay in show of good faith of the return of the sent clanmate as many attacks from surrounding clans have made many weary of surprise visits from strangers from stranger lands. Though Auruenan will soon learn just how strange this clan is.

He was first greeted by a large wolf on the crossroads. It stared him down until a quick flyer almost slammed into him. A mail carrier, at least from the large satchel strapped to her.

"Oh goodness! Are you lost? Do you need help?" She chirped, then turning to the large wolf, "Hopefully Crossroads didn't scare you terribly. He tends to be quite the trickster that one."

He was almost lost for words when she addressed the wolf, but quickly stated his business.

"Wow really?! That is pretty amazing! The clan would be glad to train but that isn't up to me. Follow me! I can bring you to our training grounds, Niji is our Master trainer. I'm sure he would know who to send to your clan."

A sigh of relief escaped him as he turned to follow her through the maze that must have lead to her clan. No wonder others get lost within these woods. Without her guidance, he would have never found the clan or return home! Shivers again down his spine when he heard twigs snapping around him; he swears there are eyes following them.

"Don't worry! They will not attack you. You are being guided so they are just curious and just want to make sure you aren't a threat." She talks so sweet and yet her words are worrying but he guess it makes sense since this clan seems to keep to themselves frequently.

When they arrived, it was so open and welcoming. He was able to bring his message and hand his clan's directions to the winning trainee. Auruenan was even given a special room within the tavern (called the Hidden Tavern- no wonder since the clan was almost impossible to find!)

His visit was very pleasant. The company was different but very friendly with a few who just seemed as cautious and secretive as the Crossroads wolf. The warm breezes and the ocean scent was very nice to his nose and skin. He would enjoy his days along the beach to enjoy it while he can, though he was starting to long for home and the comfort of his own bed.

As fast as he came, the sight of the clanmate was alerted and has finally returned! He shook Auruenan's hand and the leaders came to thank you for his clan's prize and patience while visiting their clan. The young mail carrier had agreed to help guide him out to a point where he could easily find his way home. He thanked her and back to home sweet home!
