Jesk

A hulking behemoth of a guardian Jesk came to the clan young, no longer a child but not yet an adult, and with an ego to rival his size.
He came into the territory, he said, to make his own way in the world as he came of age, as was the way of his home clan.
His attitude and arrogance displeased Ratha when Jesk sought a meeting with Eshwyn.

Almost as long as Eshwyn, with greater wings, and more densely built; Jesk acted with little regard to Eshwyn's place as clan leader. Attempting to claim a chunk of the territory belonging to the clan, relying on his size and Eshwyn's passive nature to aid him in his endeavor.

Ratha sought Jesk out in the cavern that he had claimed. She did not fight him, really. She bared her teeth and growl and snarled and snapped at him, and when his own posturing did nothing to dissuade her and she was not frightened of his size, it became quickly apparent that he was still young and lacked any skills in fighting.
And gradually, almost inch by inch, with her snapping at his tail and his feet and his wings, he backed away from her. Ratha pushed him back and back and back until he stood, marred by little nipping bites, at the edge of the clans territory.
He stared at her in uncertainty as she prowled and paced around him. Humbled he allowed her to bump and shove him around until he lay on the dried cracked earth. Staring down at him she nodded with a rough jerk and stepped back.
"You will come back, apologize to Eshwyn for your arrogance, and take up the care of the hatchlings and nests."
She turned her back to him and started a meandering walk back to the clan settlement. Cowed he followed her with his own head low.
