M ovement from the corner of your eye draws your attention. Notes of song, drift through across the wastes, and as you turn, a figure dances hypnotically under the light of the moon, drawing you in towards your doom. This is the story of the Barghest Terpsichore

The hatchling stared up at the full moon she'd been hatched under, basking in it's soft light. A song she doesn't understand drifts through the dark, the notes comforting as the coatl singing it drags her back into nest with her siblings. Whispers from the creature sharing her father's body intertwine with the lyrics as she drifts into slumber. Promises of greatness and reassurances of her skill lull her into the dreamland she'll come to know better than most


Rumors surround an old graveyard where local dragons warn not to go at night for an unnatural song can be heard luring those that become curious to their deaths. Some say a mist covers the area before the first notes of song begin but those that try to investigate end up dead, notes from the victims are inconsistent for some say that an imperial is seen and others claim a large brown wolf stalks the area. All the notes have one thing in common, all of them felt like they were starting to be lulled to sleep and was beginning to get difficult to tell if they were still awake or in a dream.

Notes:
  1. Canine form is a large brown wolf
  2. Lures her victims via song and dance that lulls them to sleep
  3. Lives in a graveyard close to the clan's territory, dragons claim to see her silhouette in the mists on moonlit nights
  4. Can see and communicate with the ghosts that make the graveyard home
  5. The dreamscape she makes is a stage like that in an old hotel or club

Earth Runestone Earth: Those with earthen eyes speak for the dead. These beasts can often be found lingering near graves and burial grounds, whispering to both spirits and mortals alike.
  • Seance: capable of speaking to and seeing spirits
  • Re-animation: capable of bringing the dead back to life along with controlling and re-animating corpses.
  • Nine Lives: capable of reviving nine times if they are slain. Each time they revive, these beasts lose some of their flesh form, slowly becoming zombie-like and ultimately skeletal beasts in the later stages of their revival.
