Biography

(note: parts of this will be lore i came up on my own, others (i.e the whole thing with TCC) will come from doodle world wiki lore,

thought it's not obvious when you first look at him, Kunzite is a hybrid. His mother was a wildclaw and his father was a skydancer. Up until he was 2, he wandered Sorenith with his mother, stepfather, and little sister and went by the name Apocalypse. then lightning struck their camp and the ensuing fire killed everyone but Apocalypse (or, at least, so he thought...)

After that happened, Apocalypse started wandering around alone in search of a new group. during this time he begun calling himself a different name, which he now uses today. Eventually, he arrived to the Starfall Isles' shores, where he discovered Spectre Cove. Apocalypse-now Kunzite-quickly found his place in the clan, being taken under the wing of 3 imperial sibings; Tanzanite, Aquamarine, and Amazonite.

About a year later, there was another newcomer; a water wildclaw named Aurel. Kunzite found she looked suspiciously similar to his sister, but paid no mind to this fact. Over time, the 2 would grow very close to each other, eventually ("eventually" being ten years later) discovering that they are, in fact, siblings.

Kunzite's leafspeak-ajacent abilities had been giving him a hard time. Pretty much from the start. He hasn't really met any other nature dragons with an ability as strong as his, so he has trouble pushing the plant voices to the side or focusing on any specific one. Now add what most of this biography after this point will focus around; his "leafspeak" picking up on a cordyceps hivemind through it's main vessel, a mushroom computer that's pretty much just clock jlados.

That's just what happened when TCC showed up.

Prior to the arrival of TCC-short for "The Clockwork Collective"-there was a mess of incidents within a group one of Spectre Cove's leaders-Ruite, who'll come into play later-often hung around. The incidents were mostly just one-off possessions that sometimes took a while to resolve. However, during all this, TCC saw the opportunity and made a deal with a Mothperson by the name of Pins; Pins allowed TCC to infect him as long as it gave him apple juices in return (it's a weird deal to make with a bug-GLaDOS-clock-mushroom thing, I know,) and from then, it started.

Soon after this, Kunzite's nature dragon abilities began picking up on TCC, hearing every single thing that went around its cordyceps-run circuits and even at times could hear the thoughts of those it'd infected. It took a toll on him, keeping him up well into the night and causing him to run off into the forest to try and drown it out.

enter, The Hole Incidents. In the first one, TCC nearly killed someone known as Fanon von Sweets, shortened to FVS, by snapping his limbs. Then, in the second one, a not-quite-human by the name of Jester pushed the aforementioned Ruite into a hole created by TCC, and it then, in a bout of instinct due to the doodle wine it had absorbed earlier, attempted to infect her, instead leaving her with gashes that she nearly bled to death from.

after this, Kunzite told his assassin sister, Aurel, what he'd been hearing. Concerned of the things he'd told her and enraged that he'd been tormented by listening to that for so long, Aurel decided that it was time to put a stop to the hivemind once and for all.

though TCC would disappear within a few weeks of this, the second Hole Incident lead Spectre Cove to declare war on TCC and Jester, and another several weeks later Aurel would kill Jester.

This, however, didn't end Kunzite's problem.

For nights afterward, Kunzite was afraid to sleep, tormented by nightmares of TCC's return, constantly kept up by what he heard before, ingrained into his mind. This led him to, once again, begin slipping off into the woods to calm down. Over this time, he met Aurora, a forest spirit.

for a while, Kunzite had mostly returned to his life before TCC's arrival, albeit deathly afraid of slugs. Up until his technically-sister, Pneuma, asked him if he wanted to move to Copper-9 with her and her boyfriend, Midnight. Though he was confused by the request, Kunzite accepted.

Kunzite, Midnight, and Pneuma arrived just over a month after a rather sudden camping trip that resulted in a solver drone by the name of Uzi to enter her "zombie drone" form and go feral, becoming possessed by the absolute solver itself-Cyn-and killing 5 other drones. That being said, it made sense that the colony was on edge when they arrived. Despite this, Kunzite found friends on the exoplanet rather quickly; a hypershock disassembly drone by the name of Serial Designation Hypershock-Ξ and a pair of gentically-modified Veilspun sisters from Camp-98.7's lake-the same camp where Uzi had gone feral-by the names of Percula and Kylara.

From there, the 4 set off across Copper-9 with their various antics, most of which involving Kunzite getting lost in the colony. With all the messing around with his newfound friends-his first ones in a while besides his adoptive siblings-and relative silence of his abilities, save for the soft, calm, rather inconsistent thoughts of Percula which he picked up on due to bio-luminescent moss being a large part of her modifications, Kunzite had forgotten about his fear.

he'd forgotten about the Ω plan.

back when Spectre Cove first declared war on TCC, the main decision-makers of the clan-the 3 leaders, Kunzite's sister Aurel, and some other dragons-were discussing what their plans a, b, c, etc. would be. It was when Aurel was telling Kunzite about this that he told her what he'd been hearing, and proposed that this could mean he could for a brief period of time take control of TCC like he could with other plants, perhaps put it in some sort of trance for another to kill. Though Aurel objected repeatedly, Kunzite convinced her to take him to the next meeting so he could share the idea with the others.

of course, things like this have a way of re-surging when you least expect it...
