The little fae stayed quiet for a moment, thinking carefully. Its tail and wings twitched absentmindedly before it finally spoke up, in a quiet and solemn voice,

"I don't know magic. I have it. I don't know it. It's a wild thing. I don't think it's meant to be known. It is. And it is in me. But it is far beyond my capability to know it." Her voice was stilted, even for a fae, but she continued on, fidgeting with her claws all the while.

"I did not have... a teacher. I do not have a teacher. I don't know if any dragon or beast or wretched thing could teach me to know this magic I have. Maybe a god," it paused for an awkward moment, "but I don't deal with gods."

"...What about you? Have you ever been outside of your elemental region? If so... what was it like? Did you like it better than your homeland?"
