Biography

Carth was in the same employ as Jeal as a protector of the Starwood Strand, and the night Jeal went wandering off in to the forest never to return, Carth befell a very similar fate. As Carth delved in to the thickets seeking his partner in the lair's guard, he became overwhelmed by his sense of treasure shared by all dragons. His senses directed him into a cave, where he found a pile of gems, just beckoning to be plundered. As he touched the pile, the gems came to life and engulfed Carth in a whirlwind, and before he knew it his scales had become coated with these gems. Being cursed, they drained his energy until his jeweled body was merely a husk of his former self. His spirit was released from his physical form from his greed, and now he works with Zimby to locate precious gems that go unseen by mortal eyes.
