A second generation Arcane Aberration, Lazare never made the annual migration to the Wyrmwound, nor has he ever felt the need to. Despite this, he grew up wanting to see the entirety of the world and saved up enough treasure to build a caravan of his own, joining a merchant's guild within the Trading Post and selling his wares during their travels.

When Lazare is weary of traveling, he always comes back home to the Starfall Isles to rest and restock his goods. It was on one such visit when he heard rumors of a wild, anarchic clan of dragons supposedly sheltered deep in the Starwood Strand.

Sparking his curiosity, Lazare began a journey to find such a clan. He was found by the sentry named Oriq after three long days spent lost in the woods.

To say he was captivated by the Vilde Chaya would be an understatement. Lazare loved their laid-back and uncaring hierarchy, a clan where no one really filled a purpose unless they wanted to. They held a begrudging set of leaders that seemed to fill their roles perfectly and yet not at all.

As someone who lived as free as he did, Lazare had no qualms about becoming a part of something like that, intrigued to see where it would lead. He has been saddled with the job of selling the clan's wares at the trading post, and the denizens of the Vilde Chaya have come to join him on his caravan adventures.

Lazare found Evan during an earlier passage through the Emberglow Hearth. He didn't appear to be abandoned, but Lazare never found the little guy's family. When their caravan's time in the Ashfall Waste was up, he didn't have the heart to leave Evan behind.

To Oriq, Lazare is an absolute menace. Constantly traveling in and out of the clan territory, Lazare has a penchant for raising the alarms (falsely) and is the sole reason why Oriq is always on edge. Truthfully, he loves that he can get the guard to have some fun, and believes that Abers should stick together.

Binx is one such member of his caravan, although she floats in and out as she pleases. It really depends on which way she needs to go when delivering her messages, which doesn't always line up to where the Trading Post happens to be that week. Lazare has a soft spot for the Aether.

Ira and Lazare both have a salesdragon smile, and can pretty much talk or barter their way through anything. They also both adopted a kid at some point in their lives, but that's about where the similarities end between the two, as Lazare is considered the much kinder counterpart to Ira. The Skydancer isn't all that bad company, at least in Lazare's eyes.
