Along the way of him learning how to use and craft spells, Esper has found himself often wishing that he could create a tome that would read the holder's mind. If it could turn to the right page, then he'd never have to rely on memory or browse for several fruitless minutes ever again. Unfortunately, including many other specifications has led to this being a tricky project, particularly if he is to replicate it after he succeeds.

Easygoing describes many aspects of Esper. He has a calm nature that does not stir easily, much less boil into anger, brushing off the troubles that may come his way. His diligence is comparable to a turtle's: slow but determined, intent on following through even after an immeasurable length of time. Now, he isn't the sort to lose himself in his work; in fact, Esper is diligent in caring for himself, reminding those he passes by to do the same once he's done with the routine. Caring and gentle, Esper makes a great companion for many creatures. The third and youngest of Wondrous and Giada's second nest, Esper loved to take life slowly. Where his siblings might rush on ahead in a flurry of activity, he was content to stick by his parents' sides before following suit in much more lackadaisical steps, lingering by flowers both literal and figurative. He took well to the art of spellcrafting as he grew older, for his manner of reading books meant that he was thorough in consuming and analyzing their contents. Should his memory fail him though, he would take a while to comb through the relevant texts again. Expediting this process became a long-term project of his. Unfortunately, Esper has not made much progress. There are many different kinds of magic in the world, and in order to well and truly learn them, he'll have to immerse himself in their respective territories. The Divine Shrine travels around, yes, but it is neutral land at the core. Esper must embark on a journey in order to reach the intended milestone in his project. |
