Neptune

Where most spirals can get rid of their energy with physical acrobatics, Neptune found it easier and more productive to turn his raging thoughts into writing. His little portion of the lair is filled with parchment scrolls, bound volumes and even a couple carved tablets, all written by him.

Almost as soon as he learned how to write from the Winged Wise's teachers, he found himself drawn to making up stories, and over time he discovered the beauty of poetry. Now his tales are written in rhyme, sometimes even in the form of songs, which he likes to recite or sing to his friend Thistleberry. At least he truly listens to even his lengthiest of poems, unlike Neptune's brother Mercury who tends to get bored halfway through and can't stay focused on any of the clever wordplay or dreamy analogies.
