An expert seafarer, Bonney commands Corona's trade fleets on their treacherous journeys across the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Yet as swiftly as she sails, her mood changes just as quickly. Indeed, Bonney is a quick-tempered mirror with a deep aversion to authority. More than once, Bonney has tussled with trade partners on the docks of distant shores, sometimes for something no more serious than an innocent deckhand advising her on where to moor the ship. For more serious clients, Petal often requests that Bonney's mate Reed accompany her, for the wildclaw is the only dragon who can pacify Bonney's stormy seas. The feisty mirror transforms completely before her girlfriend; her first mate in both senses of the word, Reed inspires all of Bonney's romantic gestures and sweet nothings. Bonney's crewmates often snicker at her schmaltzy sentiments, but only when the mirror is well out of sight — should Bonney ever catch wind of their derision, they know they'd rather face the wrath of the Windsinger himself.
