Aratain

She was completely starving when she showed up on the steps of the rubyrat Lair. She didn't know her name, or rather...she didn't seem to have one. She made it as far as the entryway to the Ravenbone clan, before she fell in a slump to the ground. The dark/black colored Coatl named Gmork was the first to start nudging her to see if she was alive. Upon this, she was then rushed inside and given as many plants as she could possibly consume. She eagerly ate 50 and then, coiled tightly around her pearl - she slept. The other Dragons stood watch over her as she rested. Some of them noticed that she seemed to be changing colors right before their eyes. What would happen next?

In her dreams, she saw herself alone. Her parents were gone. He children were gone. Even her brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles...was their nothing left of her family but herself? - She was talking in her sleep. Her primal eyes kept flickering with each wincing thought. Unfortunately, the themes of her nightmares were in fact ....real. She was the only one left alive from her family line.

The other Dragons hoped that she would be able to find peace within this new Lair, even though her rage ran very deep. It was so strong that she changed from a light colored dragon...into something darker. She became her rage. She became Aratain.

Through her searches within the record books, Aratin was able to conclude that there was perhaps one remaining member of her famaily..so to speak. Not by blood. But by love. It was the father of her now exalted children, her one and only mate - Thelxiope. He was a beautiful male, and he was PRIMAL just like she was. From the start they had a special understanding of each other. Though this was apparently not enough to keep them paired together. Should she contact him? Would he remember her? Would he even recognized her now that she had changed?

It has been reported that Aratain has taken an interest in a male skydancer by the name of Burwa. On this day there were three Dragon's hatched from a pairing between the two of them. As of today (4/26/2024) one of the babies has survived.
