Speck

Quite a driven dragon, Speck strives to make this world a peaceful place where different flights and the beasts of the world can coexist without strife. He knows that this goal is a long way off, so many differences between the groups make it hard for them to get along. But that doesn't mean he doesn't try. His attachment to Wisteria is thin and he only calls it home because of a growing bond with Shy and because Vixen, one of the leaders, has similar hopes for the future.

History
Growing up, Speck often felt like he didn't belong. Instead of wanting to romp and playfight as a hatchling, he would sit in quiet speculation, staring off at the clouds. Because of his lack of speech and odd behavior, many in his clan believed he was not right in the head and would ask his mother if his egg had been dropped. He was oblivious to most of this scrutiny and continued in his ways until a certain female coatl caught his eye. The dragoness was the most beautiful he had ever seen, yet others made fun of her for her bright clashing colors. He shielded her from the bullies, ignoring them mostly, but a few times he glared at them until they shut up. They became good friends and before it could develop into anything else, their large clan was attacked by a horde of vicious beastclans and in the chaos, she disappeared. He searched for her for many days, going over the wreckage and the bodies until he couldn't stand the sight of destruction anymore. From that day, he vowed that he would seek peace no matter what the cost.

Current day, Speck chances an encounter with a lass named Shy, a founding member of the Wisteria clan. They get to talking and a relationship forms, at first friends, but it soon became clear that neither wished it to remain strictly platonic.

Familiar
On one of his relays with the beast clan leaders, asking them to cease their attacks on a clan who was wearing thin on warriors, he met quite an interesting Centaur. After learning that Speck had come their in peace, asking for a truce better yet, Zeus, the Painted Centaur, asked if he might join Speck on his quest for peace. The war had never sat right with the Centaur and after watching many dragons and beasts be slain, he thought there had to be another way. He now travels with Speck, not as a prisoner of war or as a pet, but as an equal.
