Biography
An avid writer and enjoyer of all things beautiful. She often sits where she can observe a scene to gain inspiration for her writing.
Without apparel:
Rio grasped at the parchment between her claws eagerly, excited to send a message out into the sea. Who knew who would get ahold of this paper? Would they be able to read her handwriting? She prided herself on her neat lettering, though she admitted it could get rather scratchy when she was excited and writing quickly. No matter, she thought, shaking her head. It was time to write something!
Happy with her work, the pearlcatcher carefully folded up her letter and slipped it through the opening in the bottle. She corked it, then tied a rope around the bottle for a bit of added security and padding. This little bottle would need all the help it can get, after all. She bade the bottle farewell, then gently tossed it into the sea, gimpsing it for but a moment before the waves took it away. Good luck out there, she thought before turning around and returning home to her clan.

"Hello dear reader! I am writing to you from atop a rocky outcrop, the waves crashing against the boulders nearby. The sun is gently lowering in the sky, casting a gorgeous golden hue over the whole scene. A misty spray fills the air, and the smell of the sea is all-encompassing. Some shells line the shore, the brine reaching up to touch them before retreating once more.
If you're reading this, then this small glass bottle has miraculously survived quite the rough journey! I imagine it will receive nothing short of a pummeling from these waves as they crash against jutting rocks, interrupting their flow. This wonderful little bottle has dodged all manner of obstacles, just to reach you! When you think about it, the odds are stacked quite against it! Surely this must be fate that we should come in contact!
Ah, forgive me, I should introduce myself! My name is Rio, and I am a pearlcatcher. While I do consider myself a writer by trade, I also help run a nifty little trade operation with another clan called The Bamboo Barter. While there, I help manage the trading of scenes and vistas between clans. You would be amazed at the stories you can hear and observe when in contact with so many individuals from all walks of life! We are still getting ourselves set up before our grand opening, but if you ever wish to meet me, you should stop by! I would love to see who this lovely little glass bottle brought my letter to.
