Biography

Those who know of EmeraldKeeper know not to trespass in the areas that smell like leather and metal. One is natural to smell in the mines, the other is not. There are stories of an old dragon crushed in a cave-in many years ago, his corporeal body emerging after the rubble was cleared away, angry and vengeful.

To come and take from his territory is to tempt your own fate. Many have tried in desperation to fend him off, having worn out their welcome and his patience, but none have been been brave enough to stay and watch the fight, and certainly none have emerged victorious.

Clinking and clanking are common sounds in the mines, but there is a difference between the smack of a pickaxe on the stone wall and the distant clamor of a spiked kusarigama ball coming slowly closer. Seasoned miners know when to leave, but brave newcomers test their luck...often to become a piece of the living armor that shrouds EmeraldKeeper, never to see the light again.
