Hatched in the Frozen Wastes Juhani spent most of his early life being dragged about Sorneith by a dragon acting in the place of his father, before eventually getting the blessing to return to the Beacon of the Radiant Eye, so that he may join an army that was gathering there. The male soon proved himself to be a fantastic fighter worthy of respect, despite his young age. His time in the army would not last long, as he would soon go his own way, taking on the life of a Mercenary, as he thought the job would pay better. His ruthlessness and hardened personality would attract the attention of the Beastclans, whom would eventually recruit him into their ranks. He quickly became a strong believer in their cause, and that not only was the Assassin’s cause weaker, but it would surely bring about the worst future for those of Sornieth. Not only was Juhani impressed with the Beastclans, but they with him. The Imperial impressed his superiors enough for them to bring him into into the second phase of a secret training program, involving work with the Shade, promising him greater power and wealth should he be successful. Juhani’s success in the Shade Training helped propel him through the ranks (and he would later become one of the Masters of the Beastclans, after the Harlan mission.) After an attack by one of the Assassins, Juhani and a group of Beasts followed the dragon, known as Harlan, back to his lair. A fight broke out, ending in the destruction of the lair and death of multiple Assassins and all of the Beastclans on mission, except for Juhani, whom suffered severe facial burns and scarring, particularly on the left side of his face. This would prompt the male into wearing a mask in order to hide the scars, which would only make the stories surrounding him and his cruelty grow. And such a cruelty it was, as Juhani was not simply content by beating the Assassins…but rather, had a burning desire to crush them all with his own claws, so that he could see their spirits broken with his own two eyes. Strangely enough, however, was that despite his hatred for the Assassins, the Imperial’s heart wasn’t completely hardened, as he did have a soft spot for hatchlings and the helpless. He had even, at one point, taken on a sickly female, by the name of Elina, as a daughter, and would have done anything for her—even kill those who dared upset her. And while he is busy in the Colonnades of Antiquity with Beastclan business, Juhani always manages to find the time to go and visit with her. | x |
