-- coniri has been called many things; airheaded, forgetful, clumsy, and more have followed him from his childhood. some of them are true- he certainly doesn't have the best balance or memory, and he can get stuck in his head for hours at a time. some have called him immature, which he doesn't much care for. softness does not mean immaturity. it does not mean he is naive. he is anything but. how could he be? his father, long gone, into the void before he even named his children, left coniri to raise his little siblings himself; one did not make it long, and he has lost contact with the other.
and why would he pull himself from a dream where everything is so much better? where pain has left him, let him lie at night and not dwell on all the things watching him from the shadows. coniri may be a fool for his kindness, but at least he is not a factor to the pain of those around him. he doesn't know that he could stand it if he was.
