Originally a royal architect, working on designing a castle for a reigning Ridgeback family, he was accidentally made a hostage in a ongoing rebellion in that city. Involving a series of mishaps, he was assumed dead, and had to flee the city to escape the rebellions eyes. Now, he's simply in this 'dingy little town' to keep a low profile, until his rich and powerful clients start lining right back up, after that whole death thing blows over.

Florence is quite full of himself, and while it is for good reason, that doesn't make him less of a nuisance. Stuck up and flippant, he sees everyone beneath him (which is... everyone, in his eyes) as either a nuisance, or as a means to get rich. Because of this, he tends to miss the bigger picture, unless prompted or bribed, to which he'll snap into work mode. He's much more tolerable when he's working, since as long as you pay him, he'll treat you with some respect. If you can afford it, he'll make sure the outcome is as perfect as you need.

House the Terra Tortoise is his beloved companion, and also, house. Despite their dull disposition, they are actually quite smart. Not only that, but their absolutely massive size, comparable to a Goaler or a Guardian, allows House to function as their name implies. A type of carriage, or villa, which is fit for a Fae is fashioned to their shell. They act not only as Florence's transportation, but also his bodyguard, with their fast, but limited reaction times.
