Truth  The First The first hatchling Slumber "adopted" as he believes them to be his children. She is kept in a bubble like the others, so many others, hatchlings blinked away from home. She is Slumbers favorite child however, he often brings her things from Sornieth when he leaves to visit. Like the other hatchlings, she is awake often and is able to leave her bubble when she wishes, thought it is rare for her to want to leave. While she holds no hatred towards Slumber, she is closer with Lurk. Like him she is jumpy and anxious most of the time, but loves the story Lurk tells about Sornieth and the many places he has seen. Truths favorite being about the Shrieking Wilds and the wild magic that was once there, before the deities awoke. |

Lurk stalked into the room, his gas mask tube dragging behind him. Truth was out of her bubble, a rare event, sitting at a small grey stream that ran through the area. Slumber had tried to make the area look more like Shrieking Wilds for her, but there was always something off about it. She turned to Lurk as he approached "Why are we here?" She asked, blinking her big eyes up at him. "Oh jeez, not the question i was expecting today, can you tell me more, what do you mean by here?" He questioned, sitting next to her at the soundless river. "Why were we brought to this place?" Lurk stopped, he huffed. "I think... That Slumber wants a family, one that cant be lost or forgotten. He hasn't seen his in a long time, and he wont be able to see them again, so he wanted a new one" Lurk looked down at the small hatchling, blinking her large brown eye at him. "Why?" He chuckled "Someday you will understand, how about i get you some paper and colors, you could draw somthin" She jumped up at the idea, bouncing around in a circle "Yay! Im gonna draw the best drawing" |
