A game of chance.

It was actually pure luck that Faust made it to the clan. When a couple was raffling off their clutch, Lief was lucky enough to be one of the winners. It is believed because of this, Faust developed a keen liking of gambling and games of chance and regularly holds small time gambling tournaments. Of course, he is a shadow dragon, so he doesn't always play fair. The one exception is his mate. After all, he had to work hard to earn Terra's trust. He'd rather not be dishonest to her.

For powers, he has illusions, and some knowledge of curse casting.
