The Psamos Seraphim used to be a highly religious species, that was when their god was still alive. In those times they worshiped their creator, Altheos. Altheos was an avian god who had abilities such as clairvoyance and to be able to slow others' perception of time. They were one of the 3 ‘true’ gods, the others being Karchinos and (Haven't Decided) meaning they had the ability of creation in some forms. Altheos crafted the Seraphim from glass, molding them into shape with their magic. One of his most impressive feats other than the Seraphim themselves was creating the base of the city of Axcia, a massive floating island that was and is the capital city of the Psamos Seraphim. He appeared mainly in 2 forms, that being 1, his ‘true’ form and 2, his Seraph form. His true form was a massive pure white avian of an unknown species, possibly 20 feet tall at most. The most distinctive feature was their head, the neck is that of a normal avian yet when you get to the head it seems to be chopped off. Replacing the place of the head was an old vintage-looking clock that ticked on eternally. His Seraph form was very similar to the Psamos Seraphim. He had one set of wings on his body as well as one set on his head, the set of head wings were far larger than the average Seraphim and always covered his face. He wore thick platinum armor carved with filigree. It was said that if one were to see his face in his Seraph form they would plunge into madness that they could not escape from. When he was alive he resided in the tallest point of Axcia, distanced from the general population.

Around 200 years ago in the great calamity Altheos was killed in a battle with Karchinos. Karchinos lived, but passed away from their injuries seconds after. This ended the hundred year long war between the Psamos Seraphim and the Eldisians.
