Her domain is awash in eternal dawn • fireflies are thought to be her emissaries and tend to serve as a symbol for any devoted dragon • long ago it also served as a symbol for a, now-extinct, unique order of warrior-scholars that served in her name. Their search for knowledge may have brought them to far-off lands, but any accounts of such have been lost, or simply never noted down (they mostly frequented the east of Ashfall, covering places of interest in the Shifting Expanse as well as frequenting the port of Churnscar Wharf) • some scholars believe the locals may have muddled their belief in the Lightweaver and Flamecaller, isolated as they are, creating a sort of amalgam of them both. Those same locals will rather quickly shut down any who holds such ideas, given that the Flamecaller, Mother of Cinder - The First Spark - is held in the highest regard • Ahana is oft the first Celestial hatchlings are taught about, mainly to encourage curiosity and desire to decide what they wish to do when they grow up, as well as instilling a habit of hard work to achieve ones goals • shrines are inscribed with light runes and tend to be near or facing the ocean • typical offerings include scales, scraps of pelts and tusks of beast and foe felled, books, poems, puzzle toys, any and all handmade items that show a dragons pride in their skill and craft |
