Merivesi is one of a quartet of heirs to noble houses that banned together in an alliance to usurp the power structure. A ploy that ultimately failed, resulting in the four of them fleeing their world of wealth for the pestilence and rot of the Plague lands to hide.

The right hand to his childhood friend Mellasune, he's always striven to be the rational center of her schemes. He was disillusioned with the nobility and their games of power, wanting nothing to do with the fake smiles and empty words.

Relatively friendly, fair, and just, he would have made a very good head of house one day had he not forsook his lineage for his friends ambition.
