______ Depending on who you ask, Glo is either a spoilt brat who has more than he worked for, or a sweet gardener with a taste for all things chocolate. The former train of thought is held by most of the clan's warriors and hunters -- those few who even know he exists; he isn't exactly important in their line of work - people who live on the edges of society, while the latter is popularized by the quainter fellows- those who live a much less adventurous lifestyle.

______ It is not necessarily that either belief is more correct than the other; rather, that it is a bit of both. Glo has lived a privileged life, that much he knows and understands. But he doesn't tend to realize the extent of it, which means he often 'shows off' in mindless little ways all the manners in which his life is easier than others', and such a thing has a tendency to make the weary and scarred bitter. It is also true that he has a habit of throwing little temper tantrums when things don't go his way - though most end in nothing but a pillow thrown -, and his tendency to become overstimulated and upset by the slightest thing out of order has done naught to help his reputation.

______ That is not to say that he is not kind; he is incredibly welcoming and opens his gaudy home to any who seem like they need it. His mannerisms are polite -- even if his stimming gets on the nerves of some of the more 'proper' travelers, not that he much cares for what they think - and the tea he offers - made from his own plants! - is divine. It's merely that his goodness is oft overshadowed by his peers' first impressions of an ostentatious, boastful, rich young man with more wealth than he knows what to do with. He does his best to offset unpleasant thoughts of himself, but not everyone's mind is so open to being changed.
