Aeryn was brought to the clan sleek and angry. Her scale was flat and her wings faded from one color to another. She was only two-toned on her arrival. And she was mad, incredibly mad. She knows not her parents, and having to rear herself made her bitter. When she was brought in, she would snarl at anyone who came near. Except Karthus. She would nestle near him, staring in awe at the stardust that painted him. Spending many a night under the open sky gave her a fondness for the heavens, and that made her instantly take to him.
Aeryn is mute, never uttering a word. They could only gauge her by the guttural noises she made. Eventually she picked up a bit of magic, mostly light tricks, to signal 'yes' or 'no'. Blue faerie fire for yes, pink for no. She cannot speak, but she can sure see. And by see, I don't mean like me and you. I mean she can see. Her ability to assess a situation is unparalleled, which lead her to being second-in-command when it comes to battle strategy. Her and Karthus will spend hours over maps when the clan is preparing to launch an attack. They have not lost a single drake in battle since she has arrived.
