Laurel loves to play! She loves spring, nature, and the playfulness of little animals.

She's a spunky and creative Aether, always flitting about with some new idea or project to work on. She finds making friends easy, though her closest friends are her fellow artists DA and Visionary. The three of them work together to craft games, theater productions, and their own special chaos.

Laurel works with her dad, Lindir, to create fun games and activities for the clan's festivals. Their favorite time of year is Night of the Nocturne, both for the two-week whirlwind of fun and the anniversary of them becoming a family.

Hasan spends the night in the Tavern while Lindir travels the few miles back to the mansion he once called home to tell the family remaining the news. When he meets Hasan the next morning he's in more acceptable traveling clothes, the fancy suit missing. He has an impressive trunk strapped to his side, however, and something tells Hasan the suit is neatly and nicely folded within. The two spend part of the morning in the market, as Lindir says his goodbyes to the townsfolk, before the two of them set out.

"Oh, by the way, it completely slipped my mind to mention this," Lindir says to Hasan after half a day of travel, slowing to a stop as he rifles around one of the many bags strapped across his shoulders – and despite his soft look the dragon must have been really strong to carry it all with ease – before he brought out something oblong and purple.

"Is that..." Hasan asks, stepping closer to take the item from Lindir's paws. It is, in fact, what he thought, a Nocturne egg, pristine and slightly warm in his paws. "Where did you find this?"

"On the path from to the Mansion, on my way back this morning. I didn't want to leave it to die so I just... grabbed it. It's ours now, our baby," he smiles, not seeming to catch his slip, and Hasan bristles.

"Do not say it like that. It is yours to take care of, no 'we' about it." And Lindir has to call out for him to wait as he stomps off without him.

"Well!" Lindir chirps, clutching the warm egg to his chest. Despite his soft look, his voice drops to an uncertain warble, "Looks like it's just me and you, then... Laurel."
