Lurana (Ler-ah-nuh) has a rare medical condition in which she has to stick with a nocturnal schedule. If she tries to stay awake during the day and sleep at night like the others, it’s guaranteed that she will be extremely uncomfortable and eventually get an energy crash no matter what she does or consumes. Symptoms of her condition mainly involve a heightened sensitivity to sunlight, to the point where it can almost light her coat on fire and burn her skin. Oovalia’s scientists and doctors are currently doing research and trying to find a treatment or cure.

Meanwhile, though Lurana feels lonely, she’s thankful Oovalia took her in. With her Blue Dragon Reef Snail to keep her company, she enjoys walks out in nature and cleaning up the pond by the garden. Her favorite hobbies are collecting shells and adding to her aquarium.
