Despite being lightborn, Jaiden always had a special affinity with water. She'd feel safer beneath rain and wasn't afraid of the incoming thunderstorms. The others of her flock found it especially weird how she seemed to bend water to her will, shaping it and giving it life.

When Jaiden came of age, she decided to leave her flock. Not only was she an outcast, but a few dragons started being hostile towards her, saying that her magic was dangerous. So, without a second thought, she left with nothing but the desire for a new life in her mind. After flying for what seemed like an eternity, something caught her attention. A clan was having trouble with their river overflowing, destroying their crops and drowning hatchlings.

Jaiden came down and, despite their initial reluctance, the other dragons allowed her to help them and were amazed by her control over water. She changed the course of the river and even constructed a lake for the hachlings to bathe in.

The clan dragons asked her to join them. They were noisy and brash, and she was woken up in the middle of the night due to reckless hatchlings more than she would like to admit. But despite her stern and hotheaded personality, she can't deny they left an impression of her. And so, she stayed.
