Hukaksu

Hukaksu traveled through the land for most of his younger life, preferring to travel alone as opposed to with other dragons. During his journey he learned a lot of information but nothing held his interest long enough for him to want to stay. After many years he stumbled across the Hotaru clan while looking for a place to molt. When he emerged, Hukaksu began to move off to restart his journey when a young wildclaw practicing in the training grounds caught his eye.


Although he still continued his journey, Hukaksu eventually returned to the clan. Speaking with Ajuga, he displayed his knowledge of defensive techniques and was asked to stay and train others in the defense of the clan. While Hukaksu agreed, he continues to lumber along the clan paths, making sure they're clear. This serves a double purpose: by maintaining the roads he makes it easy for supplies to be ferried around the grounds if they're needed but he also keeps himself from feeling trapped.

Over the course of his time with the clan, Hukaksu has befriended Ajuga and Araga, impressed with both dragon's abilities. Despite being the head of defense, Hukaksu has a surprisingly bloodthirsty streak to him, enjoying to see his enemy's blood spilling across the ground. As such, he appreciates anyone who can do so well. Hukaksu and Link are usually at odds, both having vastly different views and being forced to work in close connection with one another.


Hukaksu hates small spaces and is claustrophobic in anything twice his size or smaller. Like most snappers he doesn't tend to sleep, although he probably sleeps less than most of the rest of his species. This can cause him to become a little deranged at times. Light is usually the main cause of his inability to sleep, so during the full moon he gets less sleep than during a new moon and thus is more psychotic. When fighting, Hukaksu grins creepily at his opponents. He is not a good sparring partner due to his tendency to kill whoever he fights.

I'm just gonna go ahead and start strong with the head defender. I love the use of the rarer apparel here. Not every day you see those pyrite things. But I do love the helmet/emblem combo. Even though the layering doesn't work as nice as I wish it did, it still somehow does a good job of making the helmet looks more like a helmet. Which I feel like on m Snappers... it doesn't. Just a good ol Earth guy. Very warm and friendly looking, even though I'm 100% certain he could crush me. Defensively, of course. Almedha
