-does not talk hardly ever if she can help it (prefers everything to be as short and brief as necessary)
-very stoic and serious
-has a soft spot for her apprentice and adopted daughter, Felicity (their playful banter is the most talkative and lighthearted Maude gets)
-is kind to others, just without words, which she believes is more powerful anyway
-an excellent judge of metal, she specializes in swords but can make anything she puts her mind to
-she usually focuses on practicality in her creations, but her swords are always works of art and very, very valuable
-has burn scars all up her arms and on her face from her early days in the forge
-very intimidating to everyone who doesn't actually know her
