Enthralled with the Icewarden and their watchful eye, Maelstrom has always been a dragon of abounding faith. He shares it with those around him, teaching history, religion, right, and wrong. When he encounters a dragon named Elian, who warns him of dangers unlike anything he's ever seen, his faith becomes more of an obsession. The question is, will his faith in the Icewarden and his desire to protect his flock overwhelm his conscience and corrupt his vision?
