Biography
Bio by the lovely @Horticulture!
He came into the nature lands, for when the sun broke through the leaves and wind whistled softly through the bushes he felt at peace.
His rocky desolate homeland bought him sadness, the pebbles that laid beneath his feet and the boulders pushing at his sides were too dreary and dark of browns and his mind grew dull, his mood slung into fatigue until he came across a small sapling that must’ve been dropped overhead from another dragon – he visited it regularly, watering the small plant and watched it bloom. He sat next to it day in and day out with the light rays burning down on him, with blistering heat pressured into the rocks.
Weeks passed and the sapling grew up to his hip; he was packing his burlap sack with water and fertilizer at his lair for his next trip to the small tree but was met with despair as his friend had been trampled on. He felt his heart break in to two but scampered to the realization of what needed to be done. He dug out dirt, placing it into his satchel, earth tumbling over the edge as he scurried and carefully put the sapling into safety, locking it into place with twine. He took off for flight towards the Viridian Labyrinth.
Once the Coatl arrived, he flew across the lands to find a nature dragon, anyone that could offer a second chance. He stumbled across a pack and begged them to help his plant. He was almost in tears as he pushed the sack into their arms. They bought him into their clan, settling him down as a small Fae with grey wings and a small limp slowly trampled out from the shadows, a herbalist druid who whispered sweet words poured a potion into the bag and right before the Coatls eyes, the plant perked up, its stem stood erect and the leaves clambered out in sought of day light.
The Coatl let out a small squee, grinning ear from ear; he thanked the clan and walked outside. He watched as the plants leaves moved against the wind, he looked around, the huge oaks towering over him, their branches pulling down with the weight of their leaves. The sun shined through with iridescent oranges, cascading against the tree trunks and bushlands, creating dark emeralds and he felt at peace. He stood their with his satchel in hands and his new friend whom was given a chance at life and turned around. The clan that helped him was within their lair, smiling and waving, and ever since then, he has been welcomed within the family.
