In the midst of a flurry of snow and ice and what residents of Edel would call a normal day in Winter, a little Spiral laid helplessly on the steps of Frigis' palace. When the Frost Prince went to pick it up, his claw accidentally grazed one of it's many little golden eyes, causing it to bite tightly on his claw. And from then on, as his many servants tried to make the little spiral hatchling loosen it's vice grip, Frigis knew he would take the hatchling as his own. Now as an adult, Altair currently works as a sentry guard, head of his Royal Guard. Her many eyes dutifully keep watch of his palace in her father's more lethargic states, even training herself to sleep with her eyes still watching and flicking around for intruders. Always collected and composed, she is as cold and unaffected by the heat of battle as her father is. While she does have a healthy relationship with her slightly overbearing father, Altair can't help but wonder who her parents actually were and why they would leave her in Edel of all places.

RELATIONSHIPS

Taken under Frigis' wing when she could barely remember, Altair has been with her father on his roughest days in his mostly isolated palace. She finds is amusing how his icy demeanor melts when it comes to coddling his daughter. The winter wind that constantly follows Altair represents Frigis' own protection.

While Aerie works primarily as a hunter, in times of need she's hired as a mercenary for Frigis; meaning these two have had their fair share of encounters. Occasionally the two will rant and bond over their shared and constant struggles in Edel.
