Firefly Tertiary Gene
Vial of Rare Sight
As moonlight catches on embossed ripples it reflects and dances over the stone figure at the centre of the pool. Dragonflies and lacewings hum and lily pads quiver on the waters' surface as something beneath the water, no, beneath the earth underfoot awakens. The last rays of dying daylight fade and the water turns dark in its' absence; this is the moment Bramble has been water for.
The large Gaoler woman wades into the water, quickly submerging herself to her waist as she approaches the stern-face statue, the guardian of the garden. There is a moment of uncertainty, an eerie silence that hangs in the air that makes the loud sharp CRACK all the more jarring and alarming.
The statue cracks and something emerges from the stone like a butterfly from her cocoon.
An Obelisk woman practically collapses from her perch and the Gaoler is there to catch her. It is a practiced dance - by now Bramble knows exactly where Lacewing will fall, so she knows exactly where to catch her.
Without opening her eyes Lacewing cuddles against her lovers' plush and fluffy bosom, clawed paws tangling in the Gaolers' warm fur as Bramble walks them both back to shore.
