Glosi

Leaving the nest is one of the most intrinsic parts of being a dragon. Dragons have eggs, which hatch into hatchlings, who then leave the nest to have eggs. That doesn't make it any easier, though, especially when a hatchling desperately loves both her clan and fellow hatchlings. Glosi was one of these hatchlings. It wasn't that she didn't want to leave per se - it was, after all, a very strong instinctual urge. It was more that she wanted to take everyone with her. Which, to say the least, was not a very realistic goal. That being said, Glosi quite possibly might have never left her clan at all had she never met Mythos.

Mythos was the kind of dragon who has no qualms leaving the nest. He and his brother simply felt that it was Right, said their goodbyes, and went separate ways. Which ways? The ways that felt Right. Mythos left the Tangled Wood without looking back and passed the border into the Scarred Wasteland. It was here that he happened upon Glosi, who had been out on an afternoon stroll.

She froze when she saw the sky imperial. It was rare to see dragons outside of the clan members in the Wasteland, and usually when one did, they were up to no good.

"Stop right there!" she squeaked, hackles rising. "Who are you, and what do you want?"

Mythos obeyed the obelisk. "My name is Mythos," he replied, lowering his head in greeting. "I have recently left the nest. I'm just passing through."

"Oh!" chirped Glosi, immediately relaxing at the other dragon's introduction. "I have to leave the nest soon too, but I don't really want to. Where are you going?"

"I don't know," the imperial replied. "I think somewhere near here, but I haven't decided yet. Where are you going?"

The two happily chatted until the sun began to set. Mythos glanced up at it regretfully.

"I should probably get going soon. I need to find shelter before it gets too dark."

"Why don't you stay here tonight?" Glosi suggested. "I'm sure the clan members won't mind!"

The clan members absolutely did mind, but Glosi was used to getting what she wanted, and so Mythos spent the night with the Visrot Clan.

The next morning, the two dragons left the nest together.
