Biography

A homage to my most favorite book of all time, House of Leaves

Middle-aged adult
Void Loop

There's a little house in a corner of the Tangled Wood. It was an odd house, responsible to making a family of four leave after a catastrophe. Nobody wanted to do anything with the house after, but that was only a supposed remark. Nobody was even sure if it existed at all, or if they confused the incident for someone else.

But yes, that was Hol's home. She moved in right after, strangely. She was just as odd as the house she lived at. For starters, not a lot of dragons knew what her name meant. They only knew it was pronounced like "hole," which was appropriate since her little house left such a gaping hole in reality. As much as dragons were unsure if the family of four's house existed, they were also unlikely to find Hol in her domain.

But what makes her house scary?

It was the mysterious hallway in her home. The hallway revealed an area inside that was bigger than the little house should suggest, like a pocket dimension. The hallway led to an infinite and dark labyrinth, with a spiral staircase in the center that led downwards. It led to more confusing labyrinths, and that was the best way the family could put it.

Not that anyone would know much. The pocket dimension changed its layout excessively. The walls grew thin and more and less. The staircase expanded and turned and shrunk. It was so cold in the labyrinth that you had to be either a Fire dragon or an Ice dragon.

But Hol was an Ice dragon. She was okay. The house never really affected her and she considered it a hidden beauty despite everything.

Maybe it was only hostile to the previous homeowners.

Maybe everything was going to be fine.

What an odd dragon she was, being fine and one with the house.
