Apple

Apple studies the soil of the Expanse in hopes of finding a way to better grow plants.

Although he was born and raised in a Nature Clan, Apple has been fascinated with the challenge of growing plants in places such as the Shifting Expanse or even the Southern Icefield. He had debated with himself for a while about trying to grow plants in the Southern Icefield, but after taking a trip through the icy edges he quickly decided no amount of warm clothes would help him stay there. Quickly collecting a few plants to study later, he moved a rock trying to reach one that was slightly further from the others. As he picked up the rock, however he looked at it closer and realized it was actually an egg! Wondering what an egg could be doing alone way out here, he quickly put it in his warm pack in hopes of keeping the potential hatchling safe from the biting cold. He would find someone suitable to care for it as soon as he could feel his talons again for sure.
A short time passed and he found himself and the egg, which had been showing more signs of life, in the vast Shifting Expanse. Knowing the hatchling would need more care than he could provide alone, he scanned clans as he moved past, hoping to find someone to take over for him. As he passed by one clan, he couldn’t help but snort as he watched a white and pink male snapper who was dressed in an odd combination of what appeared to be a sweater with skulls and were those plaid pajama pants and slippers? Oh, he had to meet this dragon! As he introduces himself to other male, he catches a glimpse of the hatchlings hiding behind the snapper. “I take care o’ the youngin’s yeah.” the snapper chuckled. “We take in all kinds here.” He continued.
Seeing a possible opportunity of a place to stay and study his beloved plants and to be able to have someone care for the egg he carried, Apple quickly explained his situation and requested that the snapper Blushies, take over care of the egg for him. Blushies, sent him into the cave to meet with the Clan Leaders, Beautiful and Potato to gain a space within the Clan roster, which would allow him access to some of the scientific equipment he would need to help him study the plants in the Expanse.
