So. I was getting my morning coffee before clocking in, like every day, chatting with Bit and Resmaede in the breakroom. I was laughing at something one of them said, and when I went to grab the coffee pot the thing just shattered in my claws. I got coffee all over me. Apparently, as it soaked into my fur, it turned me invisible. I can still see myself just fine, but according to everyone else, I'm just entirely invisible.

While I'm glad you're not actually harmed, the amount of paperwork I've had to fill out about this is staggering. It's genuinely impressive how you managed to turn something as simple as breakroom coffee into such an ordeal. Anyway, you're welcome for letting you return to work. Management really wanted to keep you locked up, given you may or may not be a Fracture now. Personally, I don't understand why you'd rather do mindless office work all day than relax in a cell, but the call has been made it's fine as long as you keep something on. I'm having Product make you a high-vis vest right now. Oh, and coffee isn't allowed anymore. (Unless we figure out what was up with that, at least.) |

I'm sure there's a lot of incident reports right now, so I'll provide context for future archival purposes: this happened very soon after the return of the Aether dragons, the (currently) most-recently discovered Ancient dragon breed. An Aether escape pod very nearly crashed into our HQ here, leading to quite a bit of fallout with integrating a whole new breed into our databases and all.
Now, I stepped out for some fresh air and a break from all the chaos, and I saw one of our new friends - Conduit - chewing on something in the wreckage of its ship. When I approached, I could tell it was an enchanted scroll, the kind used for changing genes. I started to reprimand Conduit for eating something probably useful for research, so it spit the scroll out... onto my claws, probably unbeknownst to it. I guess the thing already being half-chewed activated it, or something.
Long story short, I'm not invisible anymore!
I am, however, now an Aether.
