___ He never really understood how others could remain content with a set group of rules and facts. It just irks him whenever somebody tries to explain something unnatural with a simple "Magic can act in odd ways." type of statement. No, there just has to be a way something operates. Magic can't power everything after all.
___ Icemist usually preferred to remain in his cave; isolated from the others of his clan. Their possession of knowledge and reasoning was relatively short in his opinion. They seemed to barely comprehend what he was saying. Even then, it was just small bit and pieces of his theories and experiments. Who knows; there may just be another dragon in the clan that is concealing their knowledge from the others. But until Icemist can guarantee this, he'll stick to forwarding his own motives. Helping a clan that still believes magic rules the world nowadays got him nowhere.
___ Being a rather arrogant imperial, Icemist only drops his feeling of superior intellect around rather captivating dragons. Even then, he doesn't really interact with anybody that would enamor him in such a way. That is, anybody other than his mate Eureelie. There was just something about her that drew Icemist to her...permanently.
___ Very living beings can capture Icemist's attention like Eureelie did. Because to Icemist, there was nothing more beautiful than science and the pursuit of knowledge. ~ by Purpleater13

• He's no longer able to fly due to an accident with his experiment that turned his wings to fragile glass. He can only move them thanks to help from Aleirian and her technology.
