A massive dragon with an uncertain temper, Persei can be seen wandering the outskirts of the clan’s territory most days and nights. Despite being shrouded in armor and cloth, it is easy to see that he is afflicted by some sickness — his footsteps are heavy and lilted, his mist-turned breath comes much too quickly, even for a dragon of such impressive size. His sense of smell is greatly diminished, and he is extremely wary of other wanderers that happen to cross his path; he will often choose to bare his over-sized teeth rather than voice his warnings out loud. It is best for traveling merchants and passers-by to give him a wide berth.

Persei dwarfs his mate by a large margin — but behaves with surprising tenderness towards the Tundra. He will slow his pace if Idunn chooses to accompany him on his patrols, takes extra care to brush dustings of snow from his clothes, and offers an outstretched and armored wing to shield him from hail and sleet.

His origins are difficult to ascertain. His presence is accepted by the denizens of the clan, but it is a mystery as to where he came from, and when. There is gossip among the Pearlcatchers of the clan that his age rivals that of Kvasir’s, but those speculations are hard to confirm. Persei is unlikely to divulge anything of his past.
