The stone dragon calls itself Marmairo, first and brightest of its kind. Young to the world, the only home it has ever know has been trailing behind Tain and Carver, glow from its eyes lighting every tangled plant, straining for sounds in the brush. Its feet sink into the mud with every step, dwarfing the dainty footprints of its family. Few of her siblings walk the way she does. Fewer speak. None of them glow like her. The naivete of her short existance gives her a unique sense of wonder and curiosity, but also a strange acceptance. She has met so few dragons in her life, they must all snap and shine the way her family does. In theory, Marmairo leads them. Oldest stoneborn warrior, bodyguard to the Devourer himself, her task is to take his instructions and ensure they are carried out. She takes perimiter reports, she trains the newest carved statues when she can. She is kind, and empathetic. She considers the feelings of the stoneborn when neither of her family will, speaks for them for why else was she blessed with her voice? She is the head of Tian's arrow and the claws to his message.
