Child of Sana and his husband Cooper, former inhabitant of the anomaly location Aught Eight, Sileas was not lost but given. From his first steps, he was shown the world outside, and told that this would one day be the world he would step into; a forest of strange eyes.

They never scared him. When he looked, it looked back, and it felt like a gaze of warmth.

Sileas didn't understand what it meant until he was older, being promised to the Wilds. It meant it would take care of him, but it also meant he had a future beyond his home. The Wilds would always bring him back, if he wanted, and the wilds would take him where he needed to go. There was no room to miss home, the day he stepped out that door.
