Moss is a sorceress who has taken refuge in the forest in order to practice dark magic to her heart's content. Once a supporter of a king to the east and prominent figure in his court, she was forced to flee after he was killed during a bloody battle of succession. Their secret passionate love affair was never revealed but greatly expounded her grief. Knowing her life was in danger despite her power she escaped, soon becoming obsessed with necromancy in a futile desperation to bring back her lost love. Though she soon discovered it wasn't within her power to raise him from the dead she continues to conduct experiments in secret, longing for the day when they are together again.
