Personality
Greedy - Cunning - Dramatic - Fierce - Capable
A greedy noble hailing from the Patricians of the Coast. Sickle will do almost anything to overthrow the monarch within their legal capabilities. They won't be seen willingly spending their wealth on things to better the public. Unless it furthers the Patricians' schemes to put the rightful leader on the throne, frugality is Ser Sickle's first language. They're known for their cunning mind and cutthroat demeanor in battle. If a rebellion is at hand, they aren't afraid to get their hands bloody. Let nobody stand in their way, lest they get cut down for interfering in their plans.

Sickle was born a peasant. His family worked in the business of selling goods, yet their family never made enough money to be considered anything but poor. They'd eat most nights, and go hungry the rest. Eventually, illness just about wiped out their entire family, leaving a young Sickle behind to carry on their family legacy.
Taken in by their childhood friend's family, they were forced to learn the ways of their family's business and pick up a merchant's life at the age of 15. They were pretty good at it, but it felt like this wasn't all their life was meant to be. After working for four years, being supported by their best friend Jay and their family, they heard about the Arena offering positions for new fighters to test their mettle.
They entered the Arena for the first time, using what was left of their family's funds to buy themself weaponry. Their first fight was won on a mere fluke; their cheating opponent was disarmed and stabbed with his own trident, which was coated in poison- a move made in poor sport by their foe. From then on out, they were recognized. They were paid and trained to continue fighting in further battles, earning them their brand: A rich, dangerous patrician.
Ser Sickle was not nobility by birthright, no. They worked their way into the title of noble, and they relished the feeling. Perhaps this is why they're so frugal; when you're so used to having nothing, it feels wrong to dip into existing funds out of fear of returning to that state of helplessness.
Events that have happened in games I have played with Sickle:
- Ambushed the king who was fleeing a rebellion that had reached the castle. Had him beheaded while sitting in the front row of the execution.
- They keep fighting with the Monarch's wives. I literally have no idea why but if I had a nickel for every time it happened, I'd have three nickels.
- As monarch, they married their peasant sweetheart, Jay, enraging the nobles for not marrying someone who held power.
- Got killed by a tree. Take that as you will. Dude got got by a tree.
